Location
If you want a
holiday that gives you a
taste of rural Spain, a million miles from the Costas (in reality
only 30 minutes drive away!) then this is the place for you.
This spacious
Spanish country villa with its own private swimming pool is situated in a rural area just 1 km outside the old
town of Castalla with its medieval castle that dominates the surrounding
valley. The villa stands in a 1˝ acre plot with its own olive grove and
stunning views out to the Catí,
Maigmo and
Penya Roja mountains.
Castalla
boasts a number of good restaurants and bars, a couple of discos
and supermarkets, as well as numerous smaller shops; there’s
also a lively market every Saturday and Tuesday. It is within
easy driving distance of national parks and a number of
waymarked walking trails in and around the mountains. The
airport and Alicante town with its sandy beaches and wide
variety of shops are just a 30 minute drive away, and you can
get to Benidorm in about 45 minutes.
