This spacious Spanish country villa with its own private swimming pool is situated in a rural area just 1 km outside the old town of Castalla with its medieval castle that dominates the surrounding valley. The villa stands in a 1½ acre plot with its own olive grove and stunning views out to the Catí, Maigmo and Penya Roja mountains.

Castalla boasts a number of good restaurants and bars, a couple of discos and supermarkets, as well as numerous smaller shops; there’s also a lively market every Saturday and Tuesday. It is within easy driving distance of national parks and a number of waymarked walking trails in and around the mountains. The airport and Alicante town with its sandy beaches and wide variety of shops are just a 30 minute drive away, and you can get to Benidorm in about 45 minutes.
