We provide a notebook in the house for our guests to leave us with their
comments about their stay in Castalla and Vista Catí.
These are all unsolicited.

- Very enjoyable stay in a splendid country house. Had 3 excellent
climbing days, the best at Sax. There is an excellent bird reserve at La
Marina Salinas near Santa Pola. The road system is brilliant for getting
around quickly.

- We had a wonderful holiday in Castalla. We went to the castle, Monte
Maigmo, Monte Catí, and the beach in San Juan was fantastic with all the
palm trees. We had a very nice dinner at Don Jose's. We spent a lot of time
in and around the swimming pool in the garden. We liked the house very much.

- We had a great week here in Vista Catí! We went climbing, the kids
enjoyed the pool - and we hope we can come back next year.

- We have had a very nice holiday here at "Vista Catí" this week in March.
The weather has been very nice but windy. Despite temperatures about 15oC
two of us have tried the pool watched by neighbours who shaked their heads.
"Crazy foreigners", they thought. The weather temperature at the sea was
higher, we found.

- We have had a real nice and quiet time at Vista Catí. In the 2 weeks we
spent here we've seen some nice places such as the beaches of San Juan,
Santa Pola and Torrevieja - the Horta in Elche (very, very nice) - fun and
beautiful waterfalls at a place after Polop (Fonts de Algar) - caves
also not too far away - etc. etc. All but the castle of Castalla ... Vista
Catí will be remembered as a nice place coming home and rest a day for the
next enterprise in the province. Pat and Alun, thanks for the use of your
house and paella pan and recipe. It was delicious.

- Our "home away from home" has been the comfort we have had. Sharing the
warmth of the Spanish sun, culture, food and people has made this holiday so
special. To Pat and Alun our new friends, may our lives come together again.

- We are relaxed and well after our 4 weeks here. We've
enjoyed the house and used it as a base to explore and have especially
enjoyed Guadalest, Isla Tabarca, Sierra Espana, Santa Pola, Villena and
Bocairent. The weather has been (mostly) good - even warm enough some days
for BBQs and meals in the garden! (editor's note: this was March)
