The main one is the Moors and Christians (1st-4th September) which celebrates the expulsion of the Moors after some 500 years of occupation. The San Isidro Fair is held around the middle of May, and is a combination of medieval market, trade fair and various entertainments such as the Correfocs (fire run). October 9th sees the celebration of Valencia Day, when everyone gets to share a giant paella and free drinks. Click on the small pictures to enlarge them
